Privacy Policy

Account information: your name, email address, profile photo, and role, provided by you or through Google sign-in.

Tip and team data: tip amounts, optional customer messages, team membership, shifts, hours, and pool distributions.

Payment information: handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank account numbers.

Usage data: basic technical information such as device type and pages viewed, used to keep the app working reliably.

To create and manage your account, process tips and payouts, calculate tip pool distributions, send you tip notifications and summaries, provide support, and prevent fraud and abuse.

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, files, or any other Google data.

We share information only with service providers who help us run DingMe — primarily Stripe for payments and payouts, and our hosting and email providers. We do not sell your personal information.

Your name and profile photo appear on your public tipping page so customers can confirm they are tipping the right person. Managers of a team you join can see your name, hours, and tip distributions.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Customers do not need an account to tip. We collect only the tip amount, optional message, optional name, and the payment details processed by Stripe.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile is deactivated and we retain tip and payout records as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access to records is restricted by per-account security rules. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

You can update your profile, turn tip notifications on or off, and delete your account at any time from Settings. To request a copy or deletion of your data, contact us.

DingMe is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
